Executive Team

Barr comes to Crosslake from global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner in the Transformation and Private Equity practices and served as managing partner of the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office. Barr has extensive experience advising private equity firms, portfolio companies and Fortune 500 clients on strategic and transformational initiatives.

Gurvan is a private equity and value creation advisor with deep EMEA market expertise, bridging institutional PE, portfolio operations and strategic transformation. He brings a rare combination of buy-side operating experience and top-tier advisory credentials.
As Director of Portfolio Performance at Eurazeo, a leading European PE firm, he partnered directly with portfolio companies to drive operational improvement and sustainable growth. Prior to that, he rose to Partner at McKinsey & Company, spending over fifteen years advising PE clients and leading large-scale transformation programs across sectors, with particular emphasis on technology-enabled businesses, across Europe, the Middle-East and Australia.
Gurvan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s in Engineering from Mines Paris.

Matt brings significant experience in senior leadership roles spanning the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. From scaling start-up ventures to driving strategic initiatives for established industry leaders, he has developed rich finance and operations experience while building a track record of guiding strategic growth.
Leadership

As Crosslake’s Chief of Staff, Ameena leverages her strategic consulting background and global policy experience to drive cross-functional alignment and operational excellence. Prior to joining Crosslake, Ameena served as a Senior Associate at L.E.K. Consulting, specializing in the industrials sector, and held multiple roles at the U.S. Department of State, focusing predominantly on MENA portfolios. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Arabic and Economics, she brings a unique blend of analytical rigor, international insight and leadership acumen to her work.

With 20+ years in technology and professional services, Austin applies his deep experience in technology strategy to advise enterprise clients in value creation and risk management across the M&A lifecycle. With expertise spanning SaaS, technology-enabled services, financial services, biotech, healthcare, e-commerce and digital media, he is known for delivering enterprise solutions focused on maximizing the business value of technology investments.

Bryan has successfully driven strategic and transformational change in global software organizations for over 15 years. He has extensive experience advising and partnering with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to generate enterprise value rapidly. Bryan’s recent experience includes Vista Equity Partners and ST6 Partners, where he transformed software companies across various stages ranging from SMB to Enterprise. His primary expertise is M&A diligence and integration, business systems architecture and instilling operational excellence.

Chris is a senior operating executive focused on tackling complex business challenges with AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve revenue, reduce costs, increase productivity, accelerate innovation and drive enterprise value. With experience as both a strategic advisor and P&L owner, he pairs broad perspective and practical, results-oriented execution, partnering with technical and domain leaders to deploy solutions with tangible EBITDA impact.
Over the course of his career, Chris has supported more than 30 private equity firms and worked across a wide range of businesses — from global Fortune 10 enterprises to mid-market businesses. His experience spans multiple industries across B2B, B2B2C, and B2C sectors, and he leverages this background to drive impact and competitive differentiation in novel ways.

Cynthia is a sought-after product management and transformation authority who helps businesses bridge the gap between enterprise strategy and business execution to drive new growth opportunities. At Vista Equity Partners, she coached product leaders across a portfolio of 50+ companies and established the Product Management Accelerate Program, a highly regarded training program for product management leaders. In addition, she personally navigated transformation challenges in the areas of product and technology and spearheaded strategic transformation initiatives as Chief Transformation Officer for Jamf, a NASDAQ-listed network management software, and in VP roles in global product management and professional services at Thomson Reuters. Cynthia holds an EMBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Danny has more than 16 years of professional experience in the cybersecurity industry in various operating, advisory, and leadership roles for organizations across various industries and sizes. In these roles, he has designed, built, implemented and managed dozens of cyber security, privacy and compliance programs in security-sensitive industries, including legal (eDiscovery), large enterprise, healthcare, financial and government. Organizations value his ability to translate deep technical issues into practical and understandable guidance and actions supporting overall business objectives.

David is an experienced technology executive with more than 30 years of experience in software product development and product management. His experience includes CTO, VP of Product Management, and line of business leadership in EdTech companies, including SunGard Higher Education, as well as 10 years at PwC advising private equity investors and working with their portfolio companies to improve performance and profitability. David’s primary expertise is product management and new product commercialization, technology strategy and software product development.

Dmitry brings to Crosslake deep expertise and operational focus in software engineering and IT spanning the entire private equity deal lifecycle, along with significant experience in structuring and executing carve-outs / divestitures. As a partner in PwC’s private equity services practice and at other leading consultancies, Dmitry served private equity sponsors focused on technology-based industries in the domains of software product engineering and tech-enabled services. Most recently, he served as managing director for a product and tech value creation team at Vista Equity Partners.

Dustin combines data science and engineering to drive transformational AI initiatives and data-driven product innovation. From a combination of VP-level leadership and hands-on roles at Fortune 500 companies and high-growth tech firms, he brings deep expertise in identity resolution, machine learning, agentic AI workflows and enterprise-scale data infrastructure — providing the technical depth to lend strategic insights into modern cloud-based platforms and agentic workflows. He is known for building mission-critical systems for retail, advertising and enterprise technology, with past projects involving identity graph platforms, ML-based attribution systems, AI-powered workflows, AI/ML pipeline architecture and client-facing analytics tools. He is a B2B Data Science Innovator and recipient of two Amazon Inventor Awards.

Francis is an experienced architecture and engineering leader, focused on delivering game-changing digital transformation outcomes through pragmatic people, process, technology and information strategies. After a 20+ year career with Microsoft, which culminated in the role of Chief Enterprise Architect, Francis has more recently led technology transformation at T-Mobile, driven digital ambition strategy for Bose Corporation and transformed product engineering at F5 Networks as a Crosslake client.

Gagan has over 25 years of history with roles that span from strategic, individual contributor positions in start-up technology organizations to Vice President roles for global product development teams of over 300 members in enterprise software companies. His experience includes software engineering, QA, technical project management, product design and Information Technology. Gagan prides himself on evolving and transforming current situations and environments to enable exceptional outcomes.

Jared is a proven business and technology leader with 15 years of experience helping clients deliver game-changing outcomes through the quality of technology. His background spans SaaS platforms, data backup and recovery, IoT, blockchain and financial services. At Crosslake, Jared supports some of the world’s largest private equity firms and their portfolio companies through the investment lifecycle as it relates to technology.

Josh leads Information Security at Crosslake, advancing the firm’s security strategy by driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance priorities such as client and firm data protection, AI governance, and regulatory and compliance readiness. He draws upon a background in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps and cybersecurity leadership and brings deep experience building and scaling security programs for high-growth technology organizations.
Most recently, Josh served as Director of Information Security and Technology for GameChanger, a DICK’S Sporting Goods company, where he established enterprise security and AI governance capabilities supporting millions of users. Earlier in his career, he developed and delivered firmware in engineering roles at Seagate and Micron and led security and DevOps for multiple technology companies.
Josh holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and maintains multiple industry certifications, including CISSP, CISM and PMP.

Kacie brings extensive expertise in financial strategy, compliance, and reporting for high-growth, PE-backed organizations. She has a strong background in audits, M&A and complex transactions. Before joining Crosslake, she was part of the finance leadership team at Savers Value Village, where she played a pivotal role in guiding the company through its IPO under Ares Management. Earlier in her career, she specialized in accounting and finance across multiple industries, specializing in GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting while at KPMG. Recognized for her ability to lead through dynamic environments and drive operational excellence, Kacie was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Washington in 2023. She holds a BBA in Management from Florida International University and an MBA in Accounting from Suffolk University.

Kerri brings more than 25 years of corporate marketing and agency experience to Crosslake. In prior roles, she has worked in healthcare, pharmacy, technology-enabled services, consulting, finance and technology. Over the last decade, she has specialized in leading marketing, branding, go-to-market and creative strategy for start-up, PE-funded and publicly-traded companies. Her focus is on addressing the marketing needs of high-growth, recurring-revenue businesses as they transition through times of rapid change.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in technology and engineering, including 18 years with Microsoft Engineering, Kim has both strategic vision and proven expertise in execution. She has a track record of leading large teams using an agile and iterative approach to optimize resourcing and deliver on time and within budget. During her career, she has cultivated an excellent reputation as a cross-team collaborator and is known for her aptitude in solving business problems through a mix of process improvements and technological innovations.

Manoj is a technology operating executive who specializes in transforming B2B software companies by aligning the product portfolio and investment thesis for maximum value. Over the past two decades, he has built and delivered software products as both an operator and advisor, honing his expertise in product development and product and technology diligence across the Americas, Middle East, Europe, and India. In addition to roles as CTO at Real Chemistry and Cognizant Technology Solutions, Manoj has significant experience on the advisory side as Managing Director, Technology & Product Development at Vista Consulting Group; Managing Director, Technology at GTCR; Principal at CapGemini; practice leader at Cognizant and consultant at AT Kearney. In addition, he is also an investor himself in seed-stage, B2B firms. Manoj holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedebad.

Nate is a hands-on product leader and software engineer who has led multiple, high-growth software businesses as a serial CTO. Experienced on both the buy- and sell-side, he has overseen acquisitions and integrations and led the sale of two companies to private equity buyers. He has led the launch of multiple SaaS products, guided microservice system designs and overseen legacy platform refactoring and cloud migrations, giving him a practical view of roadmap risk, technical debt and scalability. In addition, he has driven Agile SDLC transformations and established SOC 2, GDPR and PCI compliance programs, giving him perspective on product delivery maturity and operational resilience. Throughout his career, he has built, scaled, expanded and restructured teams across software engineering, product management, DevOps, IT/IS and data science to align with aggressive growth targets.
Beyond his professional roles, Nate actively contributes to the open-source community and has created widely adopted libraries and data visualizations featured by The Washington Post and NPR.

Rohan has over 17 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry with deep expertise in security strategy, security architecture, infrastructure security, cloud security, application security, security operations, incident response and regulatory compliance. He has successfully designed, implemented, and supported security, compliance and privacy programs for global companies of varying sizes and types, from small start-ups to large enterprises in the financial, technology, eDiscovery and healthcare sectors. He is passionate about delivering actionable security objectives aligned with companies’ overall business objectives.

Sarah is a finance leader with firsthand expertise in private equity M&A transactions. She has led investment processes and corporate development projects as CFO at PE-backed businesses in the technology sector. And as a corporate finance consultant at PwC, in Manchester, UK, she spent 10 years advising businesses and the PE community on growth funding, group restructuring and PE exits.

With nearly 25 years of professional experience, Sean has worked on 400+ M&A transactions, helping public companies, private equity firms and private companies with evaluating and completing such transactions. In particular, he brings a combination of functional and technical skills that provide a holistic understanding of how to best utilize technology. He has served in many different executive roles, including Practice Leader, CIO and CFO, and understands essential aspects of business strategy, risk and growth with sharp strategic insights.

Stephanie is a strategic senior leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning human resources, operations, logistics and business development. She brings a proven track record of aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive organizational performance, operational efficiency and revenue growth.
Recognized as a trusted business partner, Stephanie is committed to fostering a people-first culture that supports both employee development and enterprise success. Stephen is a seasoned operational and technology executive with over 25 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity. He leverages his experience to bridge the gap between technology and business operations and has a passion for identifying and solving complex challenges and uncovering opportunities for growth, scale, and practical solutions to realize them. Stephen previously held leadership roles at Houlihan Lokey as the Head of Technology and Cybersecurity Transaction Advisory and KPMG, where he served as National Pre-Close Technology and Cybersecurity Leader.

Steve has over 20 years of technology and leadership experience with practical, enterprise-level proficiency through roles in numerous multi-national organizations. He leverages his deep technical and business knowledge to deliver positive change through technology solutions, creating high-performing teams with an innovative and inquisitive approach to organizational practices. Steve’s strategic mindfulness and delivery focus are coupled with a hands-on leadership approach.
